November 26,  2012 is the Monday after Thanksgiving. It’s the busiest online shopping day of the year known as Cyber Monday!

• 10 million people bought online on Cyber Monday,  (in 2011) representing the first time on record that threshold has been reached in a single day.

• The average online buyer conducted 1.9 online transactions on Cyber Monday for a total of nearly $125 in spending per person.

Dealers need to get products on their websites SOON so that when shoppers start looking for gadgets, you will be ready to take their orders!  Over the next month,  we will provide you with tips and information to maximize your Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales.

“Fresh content” helps you get found by Google and other search engines when prospects search for you or your industry. Google loves it when you make minor monthly changes such as:  
• Updating links - link to timely industry information

• Commenting on blogs and link those blogs/comments to your site

• Change titles and headings on your pages (Google time stamps titles and headings and searches for the most recent).  

• Don't just sell. In this social new world, infotainment that is relevant to your store keeps visitors loyal.

Google also loves videos.   So get started slowly by finding relevant videos to place on your site and changing a few page titles.  SEO is an endurance race as the search engines' algorithms change constantly.  Set a manageable goal and work it into the regular maintenance of your site. 

CES replay

The New Year started with a rewarding visit to the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.  Some of the highlights from KJB's trip  to CES included getting press time with itsyourbiz.com, checking out other booths including the incredible 3D Sony HD TV, and we even partied with Ludacris! (ok we really just saw him through the crowd)
